AKC German Shepherds

                     EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS

                    SO PLEASE DO YOUR PART

Hip dysplasia is believed to have four contributing causes:

* genetics

* over feeding

* feeding high protein puppy formulas (especially after 6 months of age)

* too much exercise at a young age

It is felt that genetics play between a 25% and 30% role in a dog having hip dysplasia. This means that
new owners can assume a great deal of responsibility (70% to 75%) in seeing that their dog develops
good joints and hips as they are growing.

  New owners need to be very careful NOT to over-exercise or OVER feed their puppy causing stress to growing joints. So lets all try and do our part in raising HAPPY,HEALTHY,PUPPIES.
